The Tarot Cards of Capricorn
The Major Arcana Tarot Card allocated to the sign of Capricon is The Devil card. The general meaning of this card is blind impulse, matter over spirit, material mastery, sex, lust of result, forbidden knowledge and tempatation.
The Minor Arcana Cards of the Two, Three and Four of Disks have less obvious connections to the sign of Capricorn. However Capricorn is an Earth sign, which aligns it with the Suit of Disks, the Earth suit. When a Decan Wheel is consulted (see image below), the first Decan of Capricorn (December 22 - 30) is found to correspond to the Two of Disks, (Change, or The Lord of Harmonious Change) The second Decan (December 31 to January 9) corresponds to the Three (Works, or Lord of Material Works), and the third Decan (January 10 to 19) to the Four (Power, or Lord of Earthly Power). If your Sun sign is Capricorn, you can determine which minor card is “your” card, and it can be used as an alternate Identifier, or you may contemplate how the card is thematic in your life. Additionally, using the Decan Wheel allows for time to be introduced into readings.
